## What Is Exodus Wallet Extension?

Exodus Wallet Extension is a browser-based cryptocurrency wallet designed to help users manage digital assets and interact with blockchain applications. It was developed by Exodus Movement, Inc. and offered a self-custody wallet experience with support for multiple blockchain networks.

The extension provided access to Web3 applications, decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, and cryptocurrency management directly through compatible browsers.

## Is Exodus Wallet Extension Still Available?

No. Exodus ended support for its Web3 browser extension on October 1, 2026. Existing users can no longer send, receive, or view balances through the extension.

Users who have their 12-word secret recovery phrase can restore their wallet in Exodus Mobile or a compatible third-party wallet.

## How to Access Your Exodus Wallet Funds

1. Locate your 12-word secret recovery phrase.
2. Choose a trusted compatible wallet.
3. Follow its official wallet restoration instructions.
4. Verify that your supported accounts and assets are visible.
5. Keep your recovery phrase secure and offline.

Never share your recovery phrase with anyone or enter it on an unfamiliar website.

## Final Thoughts

Exodus Wallet Extension offered a convenient way to manage cryptocurrency and explore Web3 applications through a browser. Although the extension has been discontinued, existing users can still access their funds through compatible wallets using their recovery phrase.\
